Towards the 2014 Housing Fair in Jyväskylä!

May is well underway and summer is just around the corner. For us, summer is a little different this year, as the 2014 Housing Fair will be held in Jyväskylä’s Äijälänranta. Jyväskylä is the location of both our headquarters and our production unit, so this year the fair will be almost in our “backyard”.

The first housing fair was held in Tuusula as early as 1970. The fair is organised by the Finnish Housing Fairs Cooperative, whose mission is to improve the quality of housing in Finland by promoting housing knowledge and expertise in cooperation with partners, and by organising annual housing and holiday home fairs. Last summer’s housing fair in Hyvinkää attracted 130 000 thousand visitors, and hopefully this year in Jyväskylä the number of visitors will be even higher!

Sun Sauna will be present at this year’s fair in a variety of ways. Our sauna solutions can be found in as many as seven exhibition halls and we will also be present in the exhibitor hall with our own stand. Photographs are not yet available, but will be added to our website as soon as possible. However, here is a brief introduction to our sites!

Our Relax collection laude is on display, made of 140 mm wide heat-treated ash veneer. Panels 15×120 mm heat-treated plywood with a sharp-edged STS point. In addition to the board and panels, the 2 glass walls in the sauna area are supplied by us!

This destination also features a laude with a Relax model thermal carpet. The heater is a Kajo Wall heater integrated into the skirting board.

Here at Muurametalo you will find our Swing model table made of tarred wood and with a foot rail.

A special feature of the property is the full-height glass wall between the sauna and the washroom. The Laude is a Relax model with a straight seat and a large foot bath with an integrated heater. The end of the footboard is covered with wood up to the floor, so that the washroom side of the sauna is not visible through the glass wall directly under the table. Exceptionally, the board material is natural aspen and the width of the boards is 140 mm.
