Sun Sauna is a Finnish family business founded in 1997 that manufactures saunas.

History

We manufacture saunas or as we call them, Home Spas. We have built more than 20 000 saunas in homes all over the country, with around 1 500 new ones being built every year.

Sun Sauna was born out of a passion to improve the quality of the Finnish sauna. Today, we can proudly stand behind every sauna we make, because decades of experience, meticulous processes and uncompromising quality ensure that every sauna is not only beautiful, but also functional and durable. For us, the sauna is an important part of Finnish culture and a place where you can stop and find a moment to yourself in the midst of the hustle and bustle.

Sauna factory

Our boards are made in our own factory in Jyväskylä, where every sawing, joining and finishing is done with heart. We train each woodworker ourselves. No one is a blacksmith by birth, but with Sun Sauna's help they grow up to be the best in their field, whose handprint is visible in every finished sauna.

With all parts manufactured under one roof, with the right machinery and by real sauna experts, we can stand behind our products because they stand the test of time and use. The quality, fit and functionality of our boards are no accident, the result of decades of work and uncompromising craftsmanship.

Mission statement

We make saunas according to the customer's wishes and the size of the sauna room. We have developed a design program that allows our customers to see the potential of their sauna space. We call these Home Baths - finished sauna spaces where home-grown quality, functionality and ambience meet.

All our sauna collections are created in collaboration with interior designers, interior architects and carpenters. Once you have chosen your preferred collection, we will tailor it to your space. The result is a sauna that combines the uncompromising quality of Finnish craftsmanship with an atmosphere that's just right for you.

Sun Sauna Home Spa products

Our range includes quality decking, stylish glass walls, fibre lighting, stoves, panels and furniture for washrooms and dressing rooms. In addition to our products, we can help you design your space so that the whole fits perfectly in your space.

We also build community saunas, spaces where the Finnish sauna tradition meets the rhythm of everyday life. These saunas warm up visitors to hotels, spas, gyms and swimming pools from morning to night, day after day. In designing them, we got down to the essentials: how do you make a sauna that lasts, is easy to keep clean and remains cost-effective year after year? We found the answer. And it's reflected in every one of our community saunas.

We supply our saunas to house builders, construction companies and bathroom renovators. Our long-standing relationships with construction companies are based on good service, product quality and fast delivery times. We also carry out large-scale sauna renovations for construction companies.
