Log collection
A plank stove made of wide solid wood, which evokes the atmosphere of a traditional Finnish smoke sauna also in a city home.
The plank board is available in black-tinted or natural-coloured spruce and heat-treated tar board.
Made of wide 40×200 mm solid wood, the stunning plank table is a whole with a balance of proportions and formal language. Spruce plank is a traditional table material that stands up well to wear and tear, with very few resin pockets when carefully selected.
Log's simplistic design language of planking is suitable for the log-walled beach sauna of a cottage or summer house as well as the sauna of the most modern stone, log or timber house.
As with all Sun Sauna decks, the Log collection decks can be dismantled for maintenance and cleaning.
For the top board of the log and the bottom board without a hotplate, a wall-mounted steel fixing solution is also available, allowing the boards to be removed one by one. The steel fixing mechanism is sold as a separate product, the board is fitted as standard with a wooden frame fixing solution from which the board slats can be removed.
For spruce lumber we use glued wood to minimize warping, heat treated tar plank is glueless. We use a special glue that is highly resistant in damp areas.
We use Liberon sprite for tinting the laude, after which the laude can be treated with a protective paraffin oil.
The pictures show a stunning black tinted bag. The same Liberon spray can also be used on the wall panels of the sauna.
