Half-height sauna glass wall
The glass wall between the sauna and the washroom makes the sauna and the washroom a unified and open space!
Sun Sauna's stylish glass wall has no darkened wooden frames: the glass is fixed to the glass openings with aluminium strips and the hinges and door pull are chrome or black. The aluminium glazing bead, protected by a model and machined to the correct dimensions, facilitates the installation of the glass wall. The rounded edges of the trim and the end cap covering the end of the trim ensure a finished finish. All our glass walls are made to measure. The hinge centring is adjustable so the door always closes in the right position.
The glass partition is made with either one or two side windows, depending on whether the doorway is located in the middle or at the edge of the door. In addition to the side glass, door, hinges, brackets and knob and pin, glass partitions often include a top glass panel mounted on top of the door. The side glazing of a glass partition may be half-height or full-height. In the half-height option, the lower part of the wall is masonry and tiled, with the side glass(es) being fixed to the masonry wall by means of an aluminium strip. In the full glass version, the side glass(es) go down to the floor and are fixed by means of chrome floor fixings, which are fixed to the floor with adhesive sealant without breaking the waterproofing.
The secret to a successful glass wall solution is correct sizing and glass shade selection. The height of half-height side windows is usually sized slightly above the seat height. Product information
- The glasses are made to measure.
- The stock colours of the glass are bronze, clear or smoke grey.
- The glass walls are made of tempered safety glass with a thickness of 8 mm.
- Special colours are also available in satin, bronze etched and smoke grey etched. The etched glass is also suitable for the partition walls of changing rooms and washrooms, as the etched glass is not transparent.
- The hinge has an adjustable and concentric spring mechanism, and the door opens in both directions. Tolerance +/-15 mm.
- The hinges and fittings are coated in shiny chrome
- The end of the glass trim is finished with an aluminium end piece in the same colour as the trim, which attaches snugly to the end of the trim.
- The glass wall is fixed to the tile surface with glass strips and to the ceiling with a reinforcement. Thanks to the mouldings and rubber seals, the glass is firmly fixed and the sauna is safe. The rubber seal does not change colour and remains beautiful for a long time.

Made-to-measure sauna glass
- The delivery time is 2-3 weeks from order.
- Doors over 840 mm wide are supplied with three hinges to ensure centring.
- The glass wall is also available without a top glass, in which case the door is full height and there is no moulding above the door. This is an economical option and is well suited to low spaces but can restrict the positioning of light fittings, enclosures and valves.
Things to consider before installing a glass wall
- All dimensions you receive with the offer are the opening dimensions of the finished surface.
- Tile the wall on both the washroom and sauna side (can also be paneled on the sauna side).
- The wall must be tiled before sizing and installing the mouldings and glazing.
- Tempered glass cannot be modified on site.
- The ceiling of the washroom should be panelled with the same panel as the ceiling of the sauna.
