Sun Sauna's ECO fibre optic luminaire consists of a transformer, projector and fibre optic bundle. The light source is the best CREE LED bulb on the market, which concentrates the light efficiently in the fibre. The fibre is used to direct the light to the desired target. The fibre light has the advantage of long life and almost free placement in the fireplace.

The silent projector and transformer are housed in a heat and splash proof enclosure and are approved for installation under the sauna ceiling. The fibres are 3 mm in diameter. The fibres can be cut to length at the time of installation.

Sauna ceiling lights according to the size of the sauna
- The ECO fibre optic luminaire has an LED bulb. Its power consumption is about 1/10 that of a conventional halogen bulb and its bulb life is many times longer. The luminaire has a separate transformer and projector, so it is more freely positioned and easier to install. ECO models are available in 10, 16, 22, 32 and 44 fibres depending on the board size.
- The EcoPlus range includes a 5 metre long glass ceiling fibre for stove lighting. The end of the fibre has a lens that focuses the light onto the stove.
The number of fibres in the panel lamp:
- The 10-fibre luminaire fits directly on the ceiling. Fibre length 1,7-2,6 m.
- The 16-fibre luminaire fits into a small L-shaped luminaire. Fibre length 1,4-2,6 m.
- The 22-fibre luminaire is suitable for large L and small U-shaped luminaire. Fibre length 1,4-3,2 m.
- The 32-fibre luminaire has two 16-fibre projectors. The luminaire is suitable for a large U-shaped luminaire or a luminaire that sits opposite each other. Fibre length 1,4-2,6 m.
The 44-fibre luminaire has two 22-fibre projectors. The luminaire is suitable for a large U-shaped or counter seating ceiling. Fibre length 1,4-3,2 m.
Installation of a ceiling light
The number and dimensions of the fibres in the luminaire have been designed to fit the Sun Sauna's decks. The fibres are installed in the fibre groove and backrest, which are milled in the factory. This way the fibres are invisible and do not interfere with the cleaning of the ceiling. For the purchaser of Sun Sauna decks and lamp, the fibre groove is included in the price of the lamp (value €30).
During installation, holes are drilled for the fibres in the backrest and the top edge of the front edge of the upper deck using the drill bit supplied in the package. The fibres in the backrest can be installed either under the panels or surface mounted.
The luminaire package always includes a tarred cover strip to cover the fibre bundle under the backrest in the corner. Before installing the panels, make sure that the electrician knows where to place the supply cable for the luminaire projector under the ceiling.
